Waterproof material. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of a section through DriAqua waterproof material. This fabric, made by Berghaus, is covered with a water-repellant coating which holds rain drops outside. It also contains pores which allow condensation formed by the body's own heat to escape from the garment. Magnification: x117 at 6x7cm size.
