Fenugreek is used widely in various dishes of the Indian subcontinent. Most of the plant is utilized, with the seeds as a spice, the fresh and dried leaves as a herb and the fresh leaves, sprouts and microgreens used as a vegetable. As with many herbs, seeds and spices, medicinal advantages are also being discovered.
According to Wikipedia, a study done in June of 2011 by the Australian Centre for Integrative Clinical and Molecular Medicine found that men aged between 25 and 52 who took a fenugreek extract twice daily for six weeks, scored 25% higher on tests gauging libido levels than those who took a placebo!
